Youth Documentary Academy helps young people locate and amplify their voices through the art of documentary film. Each summer the program works with a select group of young folks to help them create their documentary film including, story writing, filming, lighting, and producing. At the end of the year, the program hosts a world premiere to show all of the films. I have moderated several panels with young filmmakers discussing their films and engaging with audience questions.
